Licence Application / Renewal Forms can be obtained from Public Protection Services and require a fee. All forms must be returned to the Licensing Team, Public Protection Services with the appropriate fee. You should always check on the correct amount of fees due before applying.

Taxi Licences
You must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before you apply for a licence to drive private hire/hackney carriage vehicles can be issued to you. You will have to complete the DBS application form in person. This form can only be obtained from Public Protection Services, Town Hall, Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness.
