Session 1 of the Furness Climate Change Citizens' Jury took place on Tuesday 16 November 2021. In the first session, Councillor Ann Thomson, Leader of the Council, joined the jurors to explain why the citizens' jury had been commissioned and to set out the council's commitment to the recommendations that the citizens' jury make, to address climate change in the borough of Barrow-in-Furness.
