Sessions 9 & 10
Sessions 9 and 10 of the Furness Climate Change Citizens' Jury took place on Tuesday 1st and Tuesday 8th February 2022 and saw the jurors continue to write and deliberate over their draft recommendations. No new evidence was heard in these sessions, although the draft recommendations were shared with the oversight panel so that they could comment ahead of the final session - it was up to the jurors to decide if they wanted to amend any recommendations due to these comments.
Recommendations Report

Launch Event
A launch event for the recommendations was held on Monday 21st March for local stakeholders, with a public event held the following week on Tuesday 29th March. This gave people a chance to speak with the jurors about their reasons behind choosing certain recommendations and to discuss ways in which they could be met. A video of the event can be found below.
