Always remember a trained dog is a happy
dog.
Start training early preferably as a puppy.
But it's never too late despite what they say, you
can teach an old dog new tricks.
Owning a dog is a big responsibility both to the dog and to
other people. It takes
Time-Money-Commitment
- Toilet train your dog-don't let him mess outside, but if
he does, clean up after him
- Always carry some bags with you on walkies
- Train him in the basic commands
- Register with a vet
- Unless you're a breeder have your dog
neutered
- Exercise your dog EVERY day
- Provide regular and balanced meals
- Give him a collar and disc with YOUR name and address on
it
- Don't let your dog out on its own
- Provide him with his own bed and toys
- Don't leave him on his own for long periods of
time
If you can't do the job, don't get the
dog.
