Citizens Advice in the north have launched a debt advice line.
This advice line provides the same debt advice and management
services as specialist debt advisors in bureaux. The line 0300 33
33 445 is open 9-5, Monday to Friday and is intended to provide
clients with an alternative way of accessing Citizens Advice
services; it is available to anyone living in Cumbria or the North
East of England. Details of the service can be found at

Debt Advice Foundation
The Debt Advice Foundation, is a registered national debt
education and advice charity (number 1095705).
It provides free access to a range of tools and practical
guides on how to manage money effectively, budget and negotiate
