Adopted Proposals Map

The Adopted 'Barrow-in-Furness Proposals Map' shows the up to date development plan policies of the Barrow Port Area Action Plan and the remaining saved policies of the Local Plan.

The interactive Adopted Proposals Map is available through the Council's Web Mapping Service and can be seen by following the link below:

Paper copies of the Map can be viewed at Barrow Town Hall and Central Housing Office on Monday to Thursday 09.00 - 16.00 and Friday 09.00 - 16.00 and at local libraries during their opening hours.

Printing Error: Please note, if you purchased, viewed or were sent paper copies of the updated Proposals Maps between their initial production in July 2010 and 9 September 2011, the residential cordon boundaries for Rampside, North Scale and Biggar Village, on Maps 2 and 3 did not show properly. You can tell where the boundaries are as the area within them is 'whited out', but they are not surrounded by a heavy black line as they should be.

If you have any queries or require amended copies of the Maps, please contact the Section on 01229 876363.
