Barrow Borough Council Licensing Policy
Barrow Borough Council are the licensing authority within the
borough and have the responsibility for licensing all premises
that sell alcohol, provides entertainment or sell hot food and
drink between the hours of 11.00pm and 5.00am
A licensing policy has been drawn up laying out the basis on
which decisions under the Act are made.
This policy strives to achieve a local balance between the
commercial interests of the licensed trade and the communities they
serve and affect, a balance between freedom and
responsibility.
