PDF's are a common way of distributing documents on the Internet as they provide a standard view on any computer.

PDF documents can also usually be saved for viewing later, without reconnecting to the Internet.

To read PDF documents you need to to have a PDF reader software installed on your computer.

Adobe Reader is one such free program that enables you to view information stored as Portable Document Format. Many other free PDF readers are available for download on the internet, and reference to the Adobe PDF reader should not be interpreted as an endorsement of this particular product.

You can download Adobe Reader from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/.

Note that you do not need the Yahoo Toolbar or Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition to use Adobe Reader so these boxes can be unticked and it will not affect your Adobe Reader installation.
