Rubbish Collection

 

Clinical Waste

The Council, in conjunction with Refuse Collection, Street Cleansing and Recycling Contractors, Biffa, operate a Clinical Waste Collection Service for domestic properties.  A Clinical Waste Collection, which includes Colostomy Bags, needles and incontinence pads, can be arranged by phoning 01229 876487.  Collections are made on Wednesdays.  You may also request a Clinical Waste Collection on-line using the Waste Management reporting facility.

Syringes

The Council, in conjunction with Refuse Collection, Street Cleansing and Recycling Contractors, Biffa, operate a collection service for dumped or disused needles.  Needles reported by the public will be collected on the same day they are reported.  Collection of dumped or disused needles can be arranged by phoning 01229 876487.  This method is recommended for urgent problems.  You may also report non-urgent issues on-line, as a complaint / query, using the Waste Management reporting facility.
 

Septic Tanks

Emptying of septic tanks can be arranged by phoning 01229 876412.
