Extensive recycling facilities are also available at the
Household Waste Recycling Centre on
Walney Road, Barrow.
From 23rd March 2010 we will be changing our recycling centres
the existing containers will be replaced by these new
containers.
Five different recyclable materials paper, glass, cans,
cardboard and plastic can be placed in the same container and we
will segregate them. Separate containers will be provided by other
organisations for clothing and shoes at specific recycling
centres.
Please remember to rinse out glass, cans and plastic containers
before recycling them.
