Local Development Scheme

 

The Council has to prepare and maintain a Local Development Scheme (LDS) which sets out:  

  • the planning policy documents the Council currently intends to produce and update; 
  • an outline of their content; and
  • a timetable for their preparation. 
The Council's first LDS was prepared in March 2005 and revised LDS's were published in June 2006, August 2007, September 2009 and July 2010.
 
The current LDS took effect in January 2013.
